Diane loves painting watercolor because of its luminosity and potential for beautiful accidents. She especially likes plaine aire painting in the forests and rivers near her home as well as the many interesting foreign lands she and her husband, Bob, have visited. Oil painting is an occasional change from watercolor, its appeal resting in its buttery opaque elegance.
